Welcome to Digistones. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

Digistones creates handcrafted online memorial profiles and accompanying QR code plaques. By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have the right to use the materials (such as images, stories, and other personal content) submitted for your loved one’s profile.

2. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely.
Memorial profiles and QR codes will only be activated after full payment has been received.
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include applicable taxes.

3. Order Fulfillment

Creation of the memorial profile begins once all required information has been provided and your deposit received.
The completed profile and corresponding QR code will be delivered upon full payment.

Plaques featuring the memorial QR code are designed with a durable gold finish and recessed black detailing, made to withstand the elements.
Plaques are produced and dispatched within approximately three weeks of order confirmation.

Expedited production for time-sensitive circumstances (such as funerals) may be available upon request.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Because each memorial and plaque is individually designed and personalized, we do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

However, under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, you are entitled to a remedy if our goods or services are not as described or do not meet acceptable quality standards.

If you experience any issues with your memorial profile or plaque, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order so we can help resolve the issue.

5. Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy is deeply respected. All personal information and materials you provide are used solely for the purpose of creating your loved one’s memorial profile.

6. Ownership and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all photos, stories, and personal materials you supply.

Digistones retains ownership of the memorial design, structure, and any accompanying creative elements. We may use anonymised examples of completed memorials for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.

7. Memorial Longevity

All memorial profiles are hosted for the long term as part of your one-time purchase.
Digistones is committed to maintaining and caring for every memorial to ensure it remains accessible and available for future generations.

8. Use of QR Codes

QR codes are unique to each memorial and are provided for personal use only.
Any unauthorized duplication, alteration, or misuse of QR codes is strictly prohibited.

9. Liability

While Digistones takes the utmost care in producing each memorial and plaque, we are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by incomplete or incorrect information supplied by the customer.
We are also not liable for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers.

10. Modifications and Updates

You may request updates or additions to your loved one’s memorial profile at any time.
Minor updates may be made at no charge; more significant revisions may incur an additional fee.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes arising in connection with Digistones’ services will be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
