In Loving Memory 1 March 1984 – 14 November 2024
A devoted mother, daughter, and friend, Sofia faced her illness with remarkable courage and grace. She filled every moment with love, laughter, and care for those around her. Her strength, warmth, and kindness continue to shine through the lives she touched. Forever loved, forever remembered.
“She lived with love, and left it everywhere she went.”
MEMORY WALL
Shared Moments, Forever Remembered.
This space is a collection of memories, words, and stories from the people who knew and loved her best. Whether it was a quick laugh, a shared adventure, or a quiet moment that stuck - every post here helps paint the picture of a life well lived and deeply felt. It’s especially special to read about moments others might not have seen - glimpses of who she was through the eyes of friends, co-workers, classmates, and family. These shared memories mean the world, especially to those closest to her.
You always made time for a chat, no matter how busy life got. I still hear your laugh every time I make coffee.
— Emma
You taught me how to slow down and appreciate the small things. I’ll never forget those beach walks at sunrise
— Daniel
“We shared so many laughs over dropped stitches and too many cups of tea. Margaret brought joy and calm wherever she went - our circle won’t be the same without her.”
— Lynette
You were the kind of friend everyone wishes for - honest, loyal, and full of light. Even in your hardest days, you found ways to lift everyone else up. I miss our coffee catch-ups, your laugh, and the way you always made life feel lighter..
— Olivia
Your strength through everything was incredible. You taught us what grace truly looks like.
— Olivia
There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you, Sof. You were my best friend long before I understood what that meant - the person I called for advice, for laughter, for absolutely nothing at all. Watching you face everything with such strength and grace still leaves me in awe. You made every space brighter just by being in it.
Mum misses your calls. The kids still talk about you every weekend. And I still catch myself going to message you when something funny happens. You’re everywhere, in all the little things - the songs you loved, the recipes you shared, the way the light hits the garden in the morning. I’ll carry you with me always..
— Harper
I still make your lemon slice recipe - it never tastes quite the same, but it always brings you back.
— James
'“You were the heart of every gathering - calm, funny, and full of light. We miss you every day.”
— Ava
“You had this way of making everyone feel seen and safe. Thank you for that gift, Sofia.”
— Mila
